Misato, Kumamoto

Misato (美里町 Misato-machi?) is a town located in Shimomashiki District, Kumamoto, Japan.

The town was formed on November 1, 2004 from the merger of the towns of Chuo and Tomochi.

2003 estimates give the town a population of 12,529 and a density of 87 persons per km². The total area is 144.03 km².
