Why is a G-3 rifle among the captured weapons? I thought the insurgents only used AK-47s & variants. Hmmm, perhaps it's an Iranian G-3 A6.

Yes. I think it was stollen from a Turkish soldier by PKK and then sold to Iraqi militarists Kızılsungur 04:13, 2 September 2007 (UTC)

You base this on absolutely nothing. You have no evidence. The G3 is readily available from arms dealers, ever since the Bundeswehr phased them out. -NordsternMN 00:59, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
