[edit] Leyton or Leyton ward?

There are pages for Leyton and Leyton (ward). The Leyton page has more info but the Leyton ward is probably more appropriate (for now I have moved the link to the ward). I do not know if the area known as Leyton and the boundaries of ward are the same - anyone with local knowledge? Ned de Rotelande 16:54, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

I'm surprised an article for the ward is notable, but a link there does seem more appropriate than to Leyton, yes. Bondegezou 17:39, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
Ned, your correct she is(was) the councillor for Leyton Ward which is and area smaller than Leyton town (which covers several wards and roughtly the E10 and part fo e15 post codes)so the link should be to the Leyton ward as her role has no bearing on neibouring wards. Laddo, Leyton
Thanks for the clarification, Laddo Ned de Rotelande 16:06, 28 September 2007 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nedrutland (talkcontribs)

[edit] Maurice Burgess

I don't see the relevance of Maurice Burgess's case to Miranda Grell. He was not convicted while a councillor, the conviction did not lead to him losing his seat legally (as Grell's will - if she does not appeal successfully) and his offence was not electoral and predated his election. Therefore I removed the See Also link. Ned de Rotelande 20:10, 24 September 2007 (UTC)

Yes, also see Talk:Maurice Burgess where preliminaries to an AFD discussion are going on for that article and personally I hope it will be deleted for non-notability. MarkThomas 17:44, 2 October 2007 (UTC)
