Mira Nair is not a Columbia University faculty member, rather, her husband is. If you don't believe me check the Columbia university homepage for a people search.
- She is not a regular member of the Columbia faculty but has taught as an adjunct in its film program from time to time.
Mira Nair was born in Rourkela and not in Bhubaneshwar, see http://cities.expressindia.com/fullstory.php?newsid=130459
- Are we sure about that ?? Her production company website says its Bhubaneshwar, see http://www.mirabaifilms.com/bio.html
Nair is a Malayalee name. Is there a source to say that she was raised in a Punjabi family? 70.16.13.223 04:08, 4 April 2007 (UTC)
Meera Nair (author of Video) redirects here. Are they the same person?
