Mirs Bay
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mirs Bay (also known as Tai Pang Wan, Dapeng Wan, Dapeng Bay) (traditional Chinese: 大鵬灣) is a bay in the northeast of Crooked Island and Sai Kung Peninsula of Hong Kong. Ping Chau stands in the midst of the bay. The north and east shores are surrounded by Yantian, Dapeng and Nan'ao of Shenzhen, mainland China.
Mirs Bay once had coastal defence forts against pirates.[citation needed]
