Mirror, Mirror (1990 film)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mirror, Mirror is a 1990 horror film directed by Marina Sargenti, based on a screenplay by Annette and Gina Cascone. It stars Karen Black, Rainbow Harvest Yvonne De Carlo and William Sanderson remarks the last film -bit- role by Scott Forbes as commercial man's voice.
The film, like Jennifer in 1978, is considered one of the most well-crafted rip-offs of Brian De Palma's Carrie, with many resemblances withdrawn in it. Rainbow Harvest's character has a bit of resemblance to Winona Ryder's character Lydia in Beetlejuice. Other references to Carrie is music score, similar to Pino Donaggio's original score and the "It's not like we're gonna dump pig's blood on her" quote.
The film was followed by Mirror, Mirror 2: Raven Dance in 1994, Mirror, Mirror III: The Voyeur in 1995 and Mirror, Mirror IV: Reflection in 2000.
