Miroslav Matušovič

Miroslav Matušovič (born November 2, 1980) is a Czech footballer; he is an attacking midfielder, left winger or second striker. His strengths are his dangerous left-foot, dribbling skills and pace.

He started his career in Havířov. In 1996 - 2005 he played for FC Baník Ostrava. In January 2005, he famously turned down a big money deal with Chelsea F.C. and signed a contract with Sparta Prague. Matušovič scored a goal in his first UEFA Champions League appearance against Ajax Amsterdam on September 28, 2005.
