Miroslav Ivanov (born 11 September 1981 in Gabrovo, Bulgaria) is a Bulgarian footballer. He currently plays as a midfielder for PFC Levski Sofia. His first club was Yantra Gabrovo. He came to Levski in January 2005. He can play both as defensive and attacking midfielder. He began his career in his hometown as player of Yantra Gabrovo. Then he was transferred to FC Shumen where he always was one of the best players in the squad. Because of his good displays he caught eye of Levski Sofia scouts and he signed for "the Blues" in early 2005 for fee of 22 000 €.

In his first season in the club he was used mainly as a substitute and he made 8 appearances, scoring 2 goals(for the 2-1 victory over Bulgarian side PFC Cherno More Varna in a match played on Georgi Asparuhov Stadium). In 2005/2006 season he took part in 19 games, scoring 1 goal. Between Levski supporters he is best known for his attractive goal against the netherland side SC Heerenveen in UEFA Cup match during 2005/2006 season (Levski lost 1-2). In the beginning of the 2006/2007 season he again is a rare starter because of the excellent performances of Daniel Borimirov and Richard in the hearth of midfield.

Ivanov has good technical skills and he can possess and pass the ball really well. His height is 165 cm and his weight is 67 kg. His contract expires on 30 June 2008.
