Beginning his career with the club Stal Mielec, Dębiec joined the noted independent football academy MSP Szamotuły when he was 16 years old, where he honed his footballing skills. He then played on loan for Unia Kunice, after which he was signed on loan from MSP Szamotuły in the 2005-06 season by Dyskobolia Grodzisk Wielkopolski, a leading club of Polish Premiership. In the summer of 2006 Dębiec moved to league three side Rega-Merida Trzebiatów to gain first-team football experience and in the winter break of 2006/2007 season he became first goalkeeper of Polonia Słubice, a club fighting to win the promotion to the league one.
[edit] International career
He played in the Polish national football team in different age categories, including Poland U21. Dębiec made his debut in a junior national team as a goalkeeper of Poland U16 in the game against Lithuania U16, played in April 2003. His last game to date took place in March 2007, when Poland U21 took upon Romania U21 on an away match. Altogether, he has been nominated for Polish junior national teams 21 times and played 8 games. [1] He is regarded as one of the most talented Polish goalkeepers of young generation; his talent has been nurtured in MSP Szamotuły football academy by Andrzej Dawidziuk, the current head goalkeeping coach in the first Polish national team, who also developed skills of such keepers as Łukasz Fabiański and Radosław Cierzniak there.
