Mircea Axente (born March 14, 1987 in Tulcea) is a Romanian football player, currently under contract with FCU Politehnica Timişoara. He is a talented striker.

In the 2007/2008 season Poli loaned him out to FCM Reşiţa. After scoring nine goals in the first half of the season, he was brought back to the club for the rest of the year.
