The Country Club at Mirasol, also referred to simply as Mirasol, is a large, gated community located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The community, developed by Taylor Woodrow, contains over 2,000 homes and home sites on two championship golf courses along with natural preserves and lakes. Mirasol is spread over 2,300 acres (9 km²) on property previously owned by the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The two 18-hole golf courses located in the community were designed by Arthur Hills and Tom Fazio. A practice range, clubhouse, fitness center, spa, and swimming pool are located on the site of the country club as well as 15 clay tennis courts.

[edit] Honda Classic

The Country Club at Mirasol hosted the PGA Tour's Honda Classic in 2003, 2004, 2005, and 2006. The winners of the Honda Classic during its time in Mirasol were Justin Leonard in 2003, Todd Hamilton in 2004, Padraig Harrington in 2005, and Luke Donald in 2006. The Honda Classic brought attention to the community because it attracted thousands of spectators and national television coverage. In March 2007, the Honda Classic was hosted at PGA National, across PGA Boulevard from Mirasol.
