Miranda Krestovnikoff (born 1973 in Buckinghamshire, England) is a television presenter specialising in Natural History and Archaeological programmes. She is also a qualified diver which has led to co-presenting opportunities in programmes with an underwater element.

Miranda was educated at school in Reading before taking up a place at the University of Bristol to study Zoology. Whilst at Bristol she became interested in filmmaking of wildlife and the environment and was able to gain work experience at the BBC's renowned Natural History unit. After graduating she worked her way up with the BBC and various Bristol-based wildlife production companies to a position of researcher. Her first presenting role came courtesy of the Fox Television programme World Gone Wild in 1999.

Since 2000 she has presented a number of programmes and become well known in the field of diving. Water Warriors was a Carlton children's production exploring the marine environment. Miranda then worked as a pet expert in the children's television show SMILE. Broadcast in 2003 and 2004, the Channel 4 series Wreck Detectives proved a big success for Miranda. Her diving experience made her a natural presenter both above and below the waves, and viewers followed the stories of how each ship came to be wrecked, its discovery and its preservation. Continuing the history/archaeology theme, Miranda presented the BBC2 series Hidden Treasure. A major project in the summer of 2004 was the UKTV History/Anglia Television production Time Trail. This programme focused on local history in the East Anglian region, and proved a big success.

Currently Miranda is part of a five presenter team for a major BBC2 series titled Coast. This programme aired in July and August 2005 and brought her to greater public attention. The coast of Britain and its natural and human history was be explored in detail, with Miranda presenting a natural history segment in each episode. The first episode was broadcast on Friday July 22. Concurrent with this, Miranda appeared as a guest presenter on the BBC1 Countryfile programme with John Craven. During the summer of 2005, Miranda filmed for a BBC2 and Open University production, entitled History Mysteries. This presenting role appears to be as a direct result of the success of Time Trail. It is expected to be broadcast in March 2006.

Apart from her television work, Miranda has presented the Breakfast programme on BBC radio 3, writes articles for Diver magazine, engages in public speaking, charity work, enjoys diving holidays and playing in the New Bristol Sinfonia orchestra.
