Miraleste Intermediate School (MIS) is one of three public middle schools in Rancho Palos Verdes (the others being Palos Verdes Intermediate School and Ridgecrest Intermediate School). The school is part of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District.
The school was originally a high school until Miraleste High School, Palos Verdes High School and Rolling Hills High School (known as Palos Verdes Peninsula High School) were merged into a single high school. Now Miraleste Intermediate School has more than 970 children on school grounds.
