English: Medal of the Immaculate Conception (aka Miraculous Medal), a medal created by Saint Catherine Labouré in response to a request from the Blessed Virgin Mary who allegedly appeared rue du Bac, Paris, in 1830. The message on the recto reads: "O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to you — 1830".
Français : Médaille de l'Immaculée Conception, ou Médaille Miraculeuse, une médaille créée par Sainte Catherine Labouré à la demande de la Vierge Marie, qui serait apparue rue du Bac, à Paris, en 1830. Au recto il est écrit : « Ô Marie conçue sans péché, priez pour nous qui avons recours à vous — 1830 »
