Talk:Minor figures in contemporary art
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page should not exist, simply because having a page of "minor" figures worthy of mention in a global page is contradictory. The artists mentioned should be either distributed to their respective geographical sections or ignored altogether: the minor figures themselves might be unencyclopedic. [edit] Prod Tag Removal: Explanation
A very quick check of some Swedish_artists, by way of an example, produced a list of artists who are or were more or less contemporary and yet whose status as 'minor' seems, in most cases, to be self-evident. (In many instances, one could imagine their articles either just surviving or in fact not surviving an AfD). I cant see any reason to not expand this article to include many more such artists - who seem to be strewn across Wikipedia - who seem to be of uncertain significance. Will hold of further edits, however, until comment received. regards Marcus22 (talk) 19:54, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
