Talk:Minister of State for Communities and Local Government
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Downing Street website gives his title as just "Minister of...", not "Minister of State for...". The latter formulation Googles very badly as well. I'm tempted to just go ahead and move it, but I'm also aware these things are not always as they first appear. Anybody know for sure? sjorford →•← 18:21, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
- He surely is a Minister of State, although ODPM also calls him Minister of ... - but then it also calls Yvette Cooper Minister for Housing and Planning and Phil Woolas Minister for Local Government, and they are surely Ministers of State too. [1]
- I think we usually put ministers under Minister of/for ... rather than Minister of State of/for ... if that helps - perhaps this should just be moved to Minister of Communities and Local Government? (hmm - why not Minister for Communities and Local Government?) -- ALoan (Talk) 19:26, 17 May 2005 (UTC)
