Does this part: we are taught about different perspectives through which these problems can be viewed and considered mean that this is in a way an educational movie? If I find a better solution, I will try and rephrase that. Anyway, a genre for this movie should be listed in category. If I have the chance to watch it, I will categorize it. --Biblbroks's talk 10:16, 29 October 2006 (UTC)

  • While the film is not "educational" per se (as it has dramatic conventions like plot), its purpose (and that of the book that it's based on) is to present different perspectives on world problems, and (arguably -- at least in the case of the movie), to show that Capra's perspective is the more appropriate one. (The category for the movie, then, is also a bit tricky to define.) However, I can see your issue with the phrasing, and if you'd like to work with it, by all means. --Jbshryne 02:08, 28 December 2006 (UTC)
