[edit] Article reads promotional

This article is way too promotional-sounding. It needs some editorial work. Hong Qi Gong (Talk - Contribs) 05:14, 17 April 2008 (UTC)

Merging this article has done nothing to remove questions of notability. There are no verifiable sources and document merged into another subject which has nothing to do with this subject other than the place of birth. All information in this article has to do with subject's purported contributions in the american community.

There is very little evidence to support most of the claims of achievement in this article. Document sounds as if it was written for promotional intentions. Does not seem as if the subjects personal background (travels, languages spoken, etc) has been verified by at least one independent third party and no references exist to these claims.--QQbert (talk) 14:22, 23 April 2008 (UTC)

Strong Delete: Article appears to have been authored by subject herself. The criteria required for notability has clearly not been met here. There are no independent reliable sources available. The sources given merely recognize that the subject exists and appear to be press release clippings. Being mentioned in an online site does not warrant "notability". It is arguable whether the "Significant Coverage" standard has been but the "reliable" standard absolutely has not been met. There is zero availability of secondary sources available. There is no editoriabl integrity of the sources available as they appear to be biased press clippings of the author herself and do not shed any objective light on the notability of the same. The sources are all extremely poor. The fact that the author's own tagline of herself and her business appearing in a major publication does not in of itself define a "quality source" any more than a car manufacturer indicating in an advertisement that they produce the best cars on earth qualify as a quality source either. Finally the "Independent of the subject" standard is the biggest issue here as all sources and information in this article is all affiliated directly with the author and are self published, autobiographical in content or exact press releases reproduced often word for word on her own website. CLEARLY this subject does not meet the standard for notability any more than the founder of any minor e-commerce site may be. Besides author-subject's own press about herself and unverifiable statements that the bon-luxe site is some kind of destination website for the wealthy without absolutely any evidence in support, there is nothing in subject matter that warrants inclusion here. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.199.110.63 (talk) 03:13, 6 May 2008 (UTC)
