[edit] MinWin is not its own OS
MinWin isnt quite... lets say this: Its not an actual OS on its own. Its part of the Windows 7 OS. Windows 7 is still in development. What I understand is that MinWin is just a completed kernel. Its moreover a nickname for what Windows 7 is so far (a minimalistic OS). (Though, it might be possible for Windows 7 to have a GUI interface, but we have not seen it yet) I think that this article should be merged with the Windows 7 article. - I nowhere see MinWin being claimed to be an OS. The first line in the article makes it clear that it is just the kernel. As I understand it, MinWin is the kernel to be used in Windows starting from Windows 7. So, no, I would not support its merge (plus merging the kernel into a general OS article would make that too technical; as such it is better in it own article - it will let us go deeper into the article as and when the info surfaces). --soum talk 07:59, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
