Blooming Prairie, Minnesota Blooming Prairie is a city in Steele County, Minnesota, United States. As of the 2004 census estimates, the city population was 1,951. A small part of the city extends into Dodge County. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.5 km²), all of it land. U.S. Highway 218 and Minnesota Highway 30 are two of the main routes in the city. (Full article)
