Minties are sweets that have been enjoyed by Australians and New Zealanders for over 86 years. The are a hard, white and chewy lolly and over 500 million are consumed each year. They are mint-flavoured and come in packs ranging from 250g - 1Kg. Minties are wrapped in waxed paper with cartoons underneath each logo. The cartoons depict mishaps and unfortunate experiences, which is designed to confer with the Minties slogan "It's moments like these you need Minties" from the Allens Lollies marketing campaign.

Minties were invented in 1922 by James Stedman (Son of Henry Stedman) and were sold by James Stedman Henderson Sweets Limited, located on George St, Sydney, Australia.
