The Minsterley branch line was a railway line that ran between Cruckmeole Junction, where the Shrewsbury to Welshpool line (the Cambrian Line) runs, near Hanwood, southwest of Shrewsbury, to the villages of Pontesbury and then Minsterley. At Pontesbury Exchange Sidings the Snailbeach District Railway ran up to the lead mines at Snailbeach.
The line was built as a joint GWR/LNWR line. There were three stations after Cruckmeole Junction: Plealey Road, Pontesbury and Minsterley.
The line is dismantled and there are no plans to restore it. The former terminus at Minsterley is now a large meat factory and the stationmaster's house is now a private residence.
