Minnesota State Highway 26 is a highway in southeast Minnesota, which runs from the intersection of Minnesota Highway 16 and Minnesota 26 in La Crescent Township (adjacent to the city of La Crescent) and continues south to its southern terminus at the Iowa state line (near New Albin, Iowa), where it becomes Iowa Highway 26.
Highway 26 is part of the Great River Road (following the Mississippi River), proceeding north from Iowa.

Minnesota Highway 26 serves as a north-south arterial route between La Crescent, Minn. and Lansing, Iowa (near the state line) in southeast Minnesota.
All of Highway 26 is in Houston County.
Minnesota Highway 26 parallels Minnesota Highway 76 and Wisconsin Highway 35 throughout its route in southeast Minnesota.
Highway 26 passes through the Richard J. Dorer State Forest.

The northern terminus for Minnesota 26 is its intersection with Minnesota Highway 16 in La Crescent Township (near La Crescent, Minn. and La Crosse, Wisc.) in southeast Minnesota.
The southern terminus for Minnesota 26 is at the Iowa state line (near New Albin, Iowa), where it becomes Iowa Highway 26 upon crossing the state line.

Highway 26 was authorized in 1933, and was completely paved by 1953.
