The Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival (M-SPIFF) is a springtime film festival in the U.S. state of Minnesota that has been held since the early 1980s. The 23rd season in April 2005 included 160 films at 300 showings across 16 days. The 2008 edition will feature 150+ films, including 39 U.S. premieres, April 17-May 3. The festival claims to be the largest in the Upper Midwest, though this likely depends on how that region is defined. It is organized by Minnesota Film Arts, a group that operates two area arthouse movie theaters: the Oak Street Cinema and the Bell Auditorium at the University of Minnesota's Bell Museum of Natural History. Several other area theaters also participate in the film festival.

Because of the cultural heritage of Minnesota, a significant number of Scandinavian films are usually included. Some locally-produced material is also included, particularly in the form of short films.
