Ministry of the Interior and Health (Denmark)

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Ministry of the Interior and Health (Danish: Indenrigs- og Sundhedsministeriet) was a Danish ministry created on 24 November 1848, after Denmark became a constitutional monarchy. For most of its existence it was known as the Ministry of the Interior (Danish: Indenrigsministeriet).

After the 2007 Folketing elections, the ministry was disbanded, and its areas of responsibility divided between two newly created ministries, the Ministry of Welfare and the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
