Minicom Advanced Systems is a manufacturer of KVM server management solutions. Minicom also manufacture multimedia distribution systems for digital signage networks.

Minicom was established in 1987 and its headquarters are located in Jerusalem, Israel. Minicom also operates regional headquarters in the US and in Europe, with sales support teams in the UK, Italy, France and Germany. In 2005, Minicom acquired Replicom Ltd, which operates today as a dedicated IP technology R & D center

There are regional offices located in New Jersey, Dübendorf, London, Kiel and Rome. Minicom is represented in 50 countries.

In October 2006, it was revealed that Minicom received investment from Intel Capital. [1]

In November 2006, Minicom was placed 37th in the top 50 fastest growing Israeli technology company in the 2006 Deloitte Brightman Almagor Technology Fast 50 competition.[2] This is turn has given Minicom entry into the 2006 Fast 500 EMEA.[3]

Minicom’s display systems distribute video to several screens from a central server, generally utilizing Category 5 cable to carry the data.
