Mindspace is a full-service marketing communications firm based in Tempe, Arizona. Founded by principals Brent Shetler and Mark Zembal, Mindspace specializes in strategic planning, advertising, public relations, branding, direct mail, and interactive services. The organization has won several Addy Awards[1]. for its creative campaigns for clients. In 2007 Mindspace was awarded the international Gold Quill award for its integrated marketing campaign for the launch of Ethisphere Magazine [2]. The magazine is distributed to 65,000 C-level executives and compliance officers around the world.
In 2007, agency principal Mark Zembal was named Copywriter of the Year by the American Advertising Federation's Phoenix Chapter[3]. The firm's public relations department was created in 2006 and is headed by Group Director Cathy Planchard. Cathy holds accreditations from both the Public Relations Society of America and International Association of Business Communicators and serves on the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Phoenix.
A sampling of its clients include Corpedia, Avnet, ShowBizAZ, Solstice, GarageFly, JE Dunn Construction and Phoenix Community Alliance.
