MindNet is a knowledge base built by Microsoft Research. It is aimed at helping computers understand natural language. It is mainly based on "Semantic Relations" (semrels), i.e. lexicological relations built between words, terms, etc.
The main advantage of MindNet over other similar systems is that the semrels are bi-directional enabling the system to better understand the links between various words.
