MindRACES

MindRACES was a European project funded under the sixth framework program of research (FP6 / IST-511931). It was a three year project between October 2004 and October 2007. It is focused on the study of the role of anticipation and of anticipatory mechanisms in cognition and evolution and on the development and refinement of software architectures integrating anticipatory capabilities. It involved eight partners across Europe: ISTC-CNR (Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies - project coordinator), IDSIA (Dalla Molle Institute for Artificial Intelligence), IST (Instituto Superior Tecnico), LUCS (Lund University Cognitive Science), NBU (New Bulgarian University), NOZE (Open Source IT Enterprise), OFAI (Austrian Research Institute for Artificial Intelligence), UW-COGSCI (University of Würzburg Cognitive Science Group).
