Minamiawaji (南あわじ市 Minamiawaji-shi?) is a city located in the southern part of Awaji Island in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan.

The city was formed on January 11, 2005 from the merger of all four towns of the former Mihara District: Midori, Seidan, Mihara and Nandan.

As of April 30, 2008 the city has an estimated population of 52,888 and a density of 239 persons per km². The total area is 229.17 km².
