Minami-ku (南区, Minami-ku^?) is one of the 8 constituent wards of Niigata, Niigata. It was created on April 1, 2007 when Niigata was designated by government ordinance. It is composed of old Shirone City, the old Ajikata, and the old Tsukigata.
