• 1929 - The station opens as Minami-Rinkantoshi station
• 1941 - The station is renamed to the current
• 1946 - Promoted to Semi Express stop (semi express is later discontinued)
• 1955 - Promoted to Commuter Express stop (later discontinued)
• 1965 - Promoted to Express stop
