[edit] License tagging for Image:IMG 6371.JPG
Thanks for uploading Image:IMG 6371.JPG. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

- Note that I uploaded another view of the Brown County courthouse to Wikimedia Commons that is being used in the Brown County article. I took the image a few weeks ago. Royalbroil 01:27, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Duplicate images uploaded
Thanks for uploading Image:IMG 6417.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:IMG 6417.JPG. The copy called Image:IMG 6417.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.
This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 16:47, 5 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Green Bay images
Milwaukee3181--I notice that you've put a bunch of images on the Green Bay, Wisconsin page. The images are nice, but there may be too many of them. Wikipedia's rules about images say that images should be notable and essential to the article. In this case, I don't think that all 22 photos are necessary to paint a complete picture of Green Bay. Perhaps you might consider removing some of them, or perhaps creating an image gallery at the bottom of the page. -Nicktalk 20:39, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] High Schools
Please wikify your contributions to high schools. You can find an example of the minor changes here: Harold S. Vincent High School. After you hit "edit this page", notice how I used wikilinks by putting double brackets around existing articles like the city name. Also notice that the article is categorized in the Category:High schools in Wisconsin. I have added a stub tag to denote that the article is short {{Wisconsin-school-stub}} . But it is even more important than wikifying to note the source of your statistics. Anything that could be challenged as untrue, such as the statistics that you present, needs to have its source noted. The source could be a book, magazine, newspaper, reliable website, etc. You need to note the source(s) in a section called "References". I would be happy to work with you to demonstrate further. I find the easiest way to start an article is to open an existing simular article and to copy it. I then remove what doesn't belong, keeping things like categories and stub tags. I look through all new articles with the word "Wisconsin" in them, and I have noticed a theme in your articles. I understand that everyone was new at some time, so please do NOT take my words as insulting, but rather a way to improve what you have been doing. Your article are well written! [edit] Image copyright problem with Image:IMG_777armory.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:IMG_777armory.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

[edit] Image source problem with Image:IMG 0523Thirdward.JPG
This is an automated message from a robot. You have recently uploaded Image:IMG 0523Thirdward.JPG. The file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 18:33, 30 August 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. If you believe you received this message in error, please notify the bot's owner. Thank you. [edit] Speedy deletion of The Milwaukee 7
A tag has been placed on The Milwaukee 7, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. h i s s p a c e r e s e a r c h 14:44, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
