"Milk quartz or Milky quartz is probably the most common variety of quartz "

Probably? Say who? Cite sources please. thadius856talk 17:46, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
It seems that sentence came from Answers.com[1], specifically that article states "Milk quartz or Milky quartz is probably the most common variety of quartz and can be found almost anywhere. The white colour is caused by inclusions of minute gas bubbles and/or water during its formation." Whoever started the article probably just used the first google result. This [2] has info on basic quartz, but does not mention 'milk quartz'. It seems that while most of the internet notes that quartz in general is the most common mineral, few go into details regarding each specific type of quartz. Andyuts! 17:41, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Seeing as this article is a stub, and that the article on Quartz has plenty of need for growth, perhaps we should merge this article with the article on Quartz. Nschoem 02:08, 12 November 2007 (UTC)
