[edit] Announcing Wikipedia:Indonesia-related topics notice board
After some thought and consideration, I created an Indonesia-related topics notice board, along the same lines as other regional notice boards (such as those for Malaysia and Africa). This was established to coordinate efforts to improve Indonesia-related Wikipedia entries. If you've made contributions to Indonesia-related articles in the past, or would like to, please take some time to visit, introduce yourself, and sign the roster. --Daniel June 30, 2005 18:36 (UTC)
[edit] Breakup
This article is becoming too long as an extended equipment list (see WP:Not if you dont understand that) with negligble cited sources for what history is contained. It is about to be broken up into separate subsidiary articles from the main.
If you are adding material - please use or find citations for your information otherwise the added info will be reverted. If you are not a native speaker of english - please note your text will probably be modified as this is an english based part of Wikipedia. SatuSuro 01:36, 25 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Balance
This article is overweighted towards the Air Force, and very light on the other armed services. It also needs much more referencing. I have tidied it up, but it's another item on the long list of Indonesian articles needing substantial work. Oh for 36 hours in the day! Davidelit 04:04, 20 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Fair use rationale for Image:Mig21now.jpg
Image:Mig21now.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.
