[edit] Needs work

I've started it... but it needs a lot more, and it needs references. A section on history? How about specifics on amounts given (total, and significant examples)?

There was no article on Military spending so I redirected to Military budget - this should include reference to the comparison that's often mad with amount needed to give everyone education, clean water etc.

I won't do much more, as my focus is elsewhere (not to mention I haven't had breakfast yet...) --Singkong2005 00:59, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
