[edit] Work Required
I agree that a lot of work is needed here.
Over the past month or so I've been adding links to the winning authors and adding pages for them when they don't exist. Once I get through that lot (only 3 to go now) I'll start adding sub-ordinate pages for each year.
It's just a matter of finding the time.

- Clearly references have been used and are somewhat indicated on the talk page above. Could someone who has contributed, clearly attribute those sources on the article itself?
- I think this article would benefit from splitting off into
- Miles Franklin Award - the existing article, discussing the award itself and changes such as the change from award being based on year book was published to year award was given. I would like to see more discussion of the award process, rather than "just" a list of winners - who nominates, who decides, etc.
- Miles Franklin Award works / - the list of winners
- Miles Franklin Award shortlisted works & longlisted works
- I do think winners, shortlisted and longlisted works, are all noteworthy because they do bring attention to the work. Garrie 23:56, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
