[edit] Work Required

I agree that a lot of work is needed here.

Over the past month or so I've been adding links to the winning authors and adding pages for them when they don't exist. Once I get through that lot (only 3 to go now) I'll start adding sub-ordinate pages for each year.

It's just a matter of finding the time.

Clearly references have been used and are somewhat indicated on the talk page above. Could someone who has contributed, clearly attribute those sources on the article itself?
I think this article would benefit from splitting off into
Miles Franklin Award - the existing article, discussing the award itself and changes such as the change from award being based on year book was published to year award was given. I would like to see more discussion of the award process, rather than "just" a list of winners - who nominates, who decides, etc.
