[edit] Českoslovanská jednota

Českoslovanská jednota is translated as Czechoslovak Unity in the article. It seems to me that Czechoslavic Unity would be more precise translation. Does anybody know, whether this organization wanted to refer by its name particularly to unity with Slovaks or rather to unity with all Slavic nations, as the word "Českoslovanská" suggests? [edit] French memorial

Since the 1980s, I have driven every year through the southern French town of Paulhan in the Hérault département, usually crawling in slow moving if not stationary holiday traffic. I always remarked on the statue of an airman, but never stopped to look. With the bypassing of Paulhan by the A75 motorway a few years ago, I have since visited the now quiet town and discovered that the statue is of Štefánik and, curiously, it is placed on top of the town's war memorial. Does anyone know why it is in Paulhan? Emeraude 09:23, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
