The Milton Keynes Lions College Lions, are a basketball academy team from Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, with all players attending Milton Keynes College.The academy is coached, funded and run by the Milton Keynes Lions professional basketball team, who play in the British Basketball League.

[edit] 2007-08 season
Milton Keynes Lions announced in 2007 that they would be operating an academy team out of the local college to develop players to progress onto their professional BBL team, the team was to be coached by current Lions player and Assistant Coach, Mike New. Trials were held for prospective players at the start of the academic year with a final squad selected soon after. Training sessions take place in the mornings before classes comments, with games in various British College's competition's often taking place on Wednesday afternoons. A very successful first season followed with a glowing interest from staff and students from the college as well as fans of the main club. The team enjoyed tremendous success thanks to the hard work and commitment of head coach Mike New and his players, with the team embarking on a long unbeaten streak seeing them promoted at the end of the league season.

In 2007/2008 several of the academy squad began practicing with parent BBL club, Milton Keynes Lions with prospect Greg Harvey forcing himself onto the team's roster in the latter months of the season. Harvey rounded off his season with participation in the 2008 BBL Playoff Final vs Guildford Heat seeing playing minutes in both the 3rd and 4th quarters, picking up 1 foul and 1 rebound wearing the number 5 jersey.

Notes:
- During the 2006/2007 academic year the Lions provided player Liam Court to coach twice weekly training sessions for students who played basketball with the view to a team playing in leagues and cups, however games were never organized much to the disappointment of coach Liam Court and player's alike.
