Milton High School is a public high school located in the small town of Milton, Wisconsin with a population of approximately 5,588 people. Milton High School has about 80 staff members and 1040 students with graduating classes of 250 students. Mr. Randy Refsland is the Principal at MHS. Mr. Phil Pape is Associate Principal, and Mr. Bob Johnson is Dean of Students.

Milton High School offers a wide range of courses for students: agriculture, art, business, English, mathematics, science, foreign language, music, physical education, family/consumer science, health, and social studies.

Milton High School offers a full range of co- and extra-curricular activities, including musical plays, Spanish club, French club, student council, National Honor Society, Young Republican and Democratic clubs, SADD, art honor society. The History Club usually has around 50-100 students, with a mix of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and seniors. Each year, the History Club takes a trip in October to a historical site. In previous years, trips have included destinations such as Boston, Philadelphia, and Breckenridge.
Students Against Destructive Decisions (SADD) enables students from all classes are able to participate in the learning of topics such as driving under the influence, drugs, and peer pressure. Each year, the MHS SADD group provides performances and skits involving these topics. Every year before Prom, the members of SADD raises money through fundraisers so they can hire the “How to Save a Life Tour”. The “How to Save a Life Tour” brings in simulators so students can get a feel of what it is like to be driving under the influence.

Milton is in the Southern Lakes Conference. However, starting in the fall of 2009, Milton will be moving to the Badger Conference because of the large increase of students attending MHS.

[edit] Increasing attendance
There has been a large increase in attendance at Milton High School. Construction of a new high school will begin in 2009. The high school will be teaching grades 8-12, and the old high school will become the new middle school for grades 6 and 7. The middle school will become an office for the Milton School District.
