Sports are very popular and there are nearly twenty different sports to choose from over three seasons. The teams compete in the Bay State League. Last winter the girls hockey team came in second in the state in division 2. The recent budget crisis threatened to cut sports, but the athletes and their parents rallied and promised to do fund raisers and deal with a slight fee increase and sports were saved. There is also an Ultimate Frisbee team that plays year round that is free to join.[citation needed]

The Concert Band, the Orchestra, the Jazz Ensemble, Mixed Chorus, and Girls Chorus performed at two high schools in the Williamsburg area. They won three out of five individual awards, the Band and Orchestra Sweepstakes awards and the Overall Award. There are also many after school groups that perform from time to time throughout the year.
