Milt Bruhn

Milt Bruhn (died May 14, 1991) was the head football coach for the Wisconsin Badgers football program from 1956 to 1966. During his tenure, he compiled a 52-45-6 (.534) record and led Wisconsin to two outright Big Ten championships in 1959 and 1962, despite having a 1-5-3 record in his first season. He led the team to two straight seven win seasons, in 1958 and 1959. He also led Wisconsin to an 8-2 record in 1962, with the two losses coming at Ohio State 14-7, and against number 1 ranked USC 37-42 in the Rose Bowl.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota, Bruhn served as line coach on the staff of Ivy Williamson at Wisconsin from 1949 to 1955. After his tenure as head football coach at Wisconsin, Bruhn remained at Wisconsin as Assistant Athletic Director from 1967 to 1969.
