Milltown (Irish: Baile an Mhuileann, meaning "town of the mill") is a small town between major towns Tralee and Killarney in County Kerry, in the Munster province of Ireland.
Milltown stands roughly four miles away from Killorglin - another town which hosts the annual festival "Puck Fair". Milltown is packed with seven pubs, two take-away restaurants, a vet, a butchers shop, a local church, three schools and more. Milltown itself hosts a number of annual festivals and events including the World Bodhran Championships, which is in fact quite ironic, considering that Milltown itself could best be described as a large village. Fr Larry Kelly (related to the former president of the Gaelic Athletic Association, Sean Kelly) runs the town's parish with the help of few others. The old Church of Ireland Church in the centre of the village now hosts an Organic market which is very popular on Saturdays.
The village has grown substantially in the last number of years similar to other villages in Kerry such as Firies and Lixnaw with a number of housing development being built.
