Robert Chiovitti of Newmarket was "kind of startled" when he realized the ticket he was holding was one of the 14 Millionaire Life Early Bird tickets drawn on February 28, 2007. "This is a life changing event I want to remember!" Robert told OLG Prize Centre staff in Toronto when he collected a $100,000 Early Bird prize on Millionaire Life.
The winning Millionaire Life ticket was purchased at Sunoco on Rutherford Road in Concord. This ticket was worth $1 million per year for 25 years; however, like any Canadian lottery games that are annuitized, there was a cash option, in this case $17 million.[2][3]
