Millie Brown is a character in the ITV Police Drama The Bill. She will arrived in June 2008 as John Heaton hired her along with Leon Taylor and Arun Ghir because of staffing shortages.
Millie (Amelia) comes across as a bit of a scatter-brain. She assembles order to her life and the whirl of thoughts in her mind with lists and meticulous note taking. Chaos makes her anxious, so Millie always strives to be organised.
With four years experience under her belt, she enjoys the structure of the police service.
If she wasn’t a federation representative in the MET, Millie would have been a health and safety advisor. No rule is too big to be ignored. She will always proceed with caution.
Millie is too self-conscious to speak up at times – but when she does it’s invariably immaculately though-through and a logical suggestion, which will contain a gem which unlocks the case.
