Millersville is a unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. The population was 17,739 at the 2000 census.

As of the census[2] of 2000, there were 17,739 people, 5,990 households, and 4,847 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,218 Persons Per Square Mile. There are 6,137 housing units. The racial makeup of the city was 85.8% White, 8.2% African American, 0.3% Native American, 3.7% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander (5 total), 0.7% from other races, and 1.2% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.9% of the population.
