[edit] Vision

The Miller College of Business strives to be an excellent business school and a preferred source of business graduates. The college pursues national recognition for expertise in focused areas of business and public policy.

[edit] Mission

The mission of the Miller College of Business is to prepare students for successful professional careers in a dynamic global environment. The College provides students with opportunities to develop their professional and analytical abilities and to use current information and communication technologies. Faculty and staff are to be actively involved in their academic areas and the business community primarily through discipline-based scholarship and service.

[edit] Degree Programs

In order to meet the responsibilities to their students, the college offers degree programs in five departments:

  • Accounting
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • Information Systems and Operations Management
  • International Business
  • Marketing and Management

Because the majority of their students are enrolled at the undergraduate level, the major portion of our resources is devoted to the undergraduate programs. However, since the college sees increasing opportunities at the graduate level, a larger percentage of Miller College of Business resources will be committed to continued development and expansion of these programs. The graduate programs include the Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Arts in Education (MAE), and Master of Science (MS) in Accounting degrees. In addition to their on-campus MBA Program, the College of Business provides accredited graduate education for part-time students throughout Indiana and at other selected sites via distance education. The Miller College of Business is accredited by AACSB - the International Association for Management Education, and the accounting program has achieved separate AACSB accreditation. They are committed to maintaining these accreditations.
