Milko Georgiev Kazanov (Bulgarian: Милко Георгиев Казанов, born February 11, 1970 in Rousse) is a Bulgarian flatwater canoer. He won an Olympic bronze medal at the 1996 Atlanta games in the K-2 kayak with partner Andrian Dushev.

Since 1999 Kazanov has been a member of the Bulgaria four-man (K-4) 1000m crew which has consistently been one of the strongest in the world, but which has never won a gold medal. In the major race of each season (world championship or Olympic final) they have finished:-

  • 1999 - 5th
  • 2000 - 5th
  • 2001 - 7th (Kazanov not in crew)
  • 2002 - 3rd (bronze medal)
  • 2003 - 4th
  • 2004 - 4th
  • 2005 - 4th

He has also won three European Championship medals, two silvers (k-4 500m and 1000m) in Zagreb in 1999 and bronze (k-4 1000m) in Poznań in 2000.

Kazanov is 186 cm (6ft 1in) tall and weighs 86 kg (190 lbs). He is now a member of the Levski Canoe/Kayak Club club in Sofia.
