Milica Ilic (b.1981) is one of most well known classical guitarists in the world today. Now in her mid-twenties she has already produced two albums, which have achieved critical acclaim. Milica has toured extensively in Australia, Asia and Europe, performing as a soloist, with orchestra and as an accompanist. She holds a First Class Honours degree in performance, from the University of Western Australia, Perth, where she studied with renowned guitar teacher John Casey. In 2004 she was honoured as Western Australia’s “Citizen of the Year” for her contribution to arts and culture. Milica’s playing - live and on record - has been enjoyed by listeners of the BBC, Classic FM (UK)and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.
