[edit] The Academy
[edit] General information
Milford Academy is an all boys "post-graduate" school for athletes who have the potential to play Football at College level. Most of the recruits Milford gets are good enough to play at such schools as Michigan State, Florida State, and University of Miami. Football is the major course of study. [1]
[edit] Weight Room
The weight room is a 5,000 sq foot two bay garage. There are 4 bench set ups, 4 squat racks, and over 15,000lbs of free weights. There is also a gymnasium and a brand newly renovated locker room. [2]
[edit] Dorms
The dorms are old run-down classrooms. Each room holds 5 to 8 students. Milford Academy has dormitories to house boarding students. Dormitories are scheduled to have cable TV, private telephone service, and high speed internet access via the school network available to every room. There is no charge for these services except that local phone service is made by arrangement with the local phone carrier. [3]
[edit] The Hall of Fame
The Hall of Fame Room is dedicated to former students of Milford Academyhjdfgj and is filled with their photos and memorabilia. If a student is a starter and gets picked up by a team, their picture on that team will be framed and held in a place of honor in the Hall of Fame. [4]
